Accessing U of T licenced databases and e-journals

NOTE: If you are using a UTORDial account or another departmental account to log into the university network you have full access to everything already!

E-journals and e-indexes accessible using Netscape, Internet Explorer or other browsers

• The my.access server validates U of T users the first time per session they attempt to access a licenced resource. You will be prompted for your barcode and PIN as given on your U of T card. The barcode number is listed under the barcode and your PIN is the last four digits of your student number. You can save this logon if your browser is configured to save passwords.
• You can now enter either your barcode and PIN or your UTORID and Password

Scifinder and Beilstein access

• If you are a grad student, postdoc, staff, or faculty you can now set up a VPN account for off-campus use - go to vpn.utoronto.ca for instructions on setup.
• Scifinder and Reaxys (Beilstein web) can be used off campus with the my.access validation now.
