CHM398 Independent Experiential Study
Students in the Chemistry programs may apply to do summer research in Germany (Baden-Württemberg) which is funded through the Faculty of Arts and Science International Student Exchange Office (www.utoronto.ca/student.exchange/). This is geared to students who have completed their third year of Chemistry degree by the applicable summer. This opportunity allows the students to spend between 2 and 4 months in Germany to be engaged in research projects relevant to their studies. At the end of their research, students write a report about their research and submit 3 copies to the Chemistry Undergrad Office for reading by members of the chemistry faculty. This research counts as a CHM398H course credit (Independent Experiential Study Project). For information about available projects and application procedures, please visit the undergraduate office (LM 151). Applications are due during the fall semester.
